Jonathan is like Jesus Christ, he’s bearing the burden of Everybody - Okupe

Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, on Monday, said that President Jonathan is like Jesus Christ.

According to him, the comparison is based on the fact that Jonathan is bearing the burden of all Nigerians just the same way Jesus Christ bore the burden of the world.

Okupe stated this while speaking on ChannelsTV Sunrise Daily programme as regards the state of the Nation.

He said, "People do not understand the burden this president is bearing. He's like Jesus Christ. He's bearing the burden of everybody."

Okupe also said Jonathan was doing everything possible to end Boko Haram, by his efforts were being hindered by several 'external factors.'

On the 2015 elections, he expressed confidence that Jonathan will be reelected.
