Yemi Alade covers Mystreetz magazine

Rising pop star, Yemi Alade is no doubt one of the very few successful artistes of 2014 as her smash hit single, Johnny has taken her far and beyond the shores of the continent.
With the release of her debut album Kings of Queens planned today, the sexy singer also made the cover of the latest edition of ‘Mystreetz’ magazine.
According to the publisher of the magazine, Sesan Adeniji, ‘Yemi Alade’s rising crescendo, her resonating brand name with fans across Africa and the fact that she’s gradually and steadily staking a claim with the corporate world in Nigeria, with her endorsement as a brand ambassador for the world’s most colorful alcoholic drink (Bacardi Breezer) and her involvement with the Coke Studio Africa, it’s high time we realize Yemi Alade means business.’
On her own part, Yemi Alade said: ‘The perfect word to describe my career in the last one year would be ‘eventful’. I remember sharing over 100 cakes to celebrate the release of two of my new singles at the time called ‘Birthday Song’ and ‘My head’ respectively. We toured over 15 major states sharing cakes and good music. In the process I recorded ‘Johnny’ with Selebobo which leaked online and the rest is history. Since the release of ‘Johnny’, ‘Tangerine’ and ‘kissing‘, I have spent more time at airports and hotels than my home. It’s an amazing experience full of many tales’.
The new edition of Mystreetz magazine is due out on newsstands soon, with the cover photography done by August Udoh.
