[PHOTOS] 9-YEAR-OLD GIRL CAPTURES ATTENTION OF NIGERIAN MILITARY WITH HER REVEALING BOOK ON BOKO HARAM

A 9 year old pupil Miss Splendour Joe Abisoye from the Unique Blossom School Maitama, has presented to the Defence Headquarters a copy of her book titled "Effects of Terrorism on children".

Accompanied by her parents Rev. and Mrs Joe King Abisoye, Splendour stated that she was inspired to write the book as a result of terrorism occurrences in Nigeria and her interactions with children when she visited an internally displaced persons camp (IDP's).

She noted that the minds of these young ones have been debased. For instance, Splendour said, many of them said they prefer to join Boko Haram group just for them to be protected.

Her inspiration was further boosted to write the understanding that these terrorists were once children and proper education could guarantee a terror free society.

She decided to use the Defence Headquarters as a platform to reach out to other stakeholders in the fight against terrorism in the distribution of her books and send them to all IDP camps, Almajiri schools and all military schools in Nigeria.
