Dame Virgy Etiaba was Nigeria's 1st Female Governor after Peter Obi was impeached. The Taraba lady above will be Nigeria's 1st ELECTED female Gov. Congrats.


It would be recalled that Senator Aisha won the primaries with a land slide victory of 2425, her closest opponent Ibrahim Tumba had 18 votes. Senator Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan, is currently a senator in the 7th National Assembly representing Taraba North senatorial district.
