April Fools' Day Pranks 2015: 9 Easy Last Minute Jokes For Everyone In Your Life

The first day of April is popularly known as April Fools' Day (or All Fools' Day) where people play pranks and hoaxes on their family and friends. The history of the day dates back to when France stopped using the Gregorian calendar and switched New Year's Day from Apr. 1 to Jan. 1. Those who continued celebrating the new year on the first of April were seen as "fools" and tricks were played on them.

This year, if you're looking for easy pranks then look no further. We've compiled a list of nine easy pranks to pull on your friends, peers, co-workers and classmates!

1. Phone Background: It's no secret that we're living in an age where people are hooked to their smartphones. Keeping that in mind, the prank that will give your victim the most emotional stress is replacing their cell phone background to an image of cracked glass.

2. Smartphone Language Settings: If you can manage to get some one-on-one time with your victim's phone, then switch your friend's cell phone settings from English to another language.

3. Facebook Birthday Prank: If you know someone that has left their Facebook open, then know you have been gifted the best prank. Change this individual's birthday to Apr. 1 for their feed to blow up with birthday wishes. Most people don't check their birthdate on Facebook so you can make this little switch in advance.

4. Toothpaste Hoax: Ruin someone's morning by switching out their toothpaste for mayonnaise. It's disgusting, cruel, and hilarious.

5. Frozen Computer: Dupe someone into thinking their computer is frozen by taking a screenshot of their desktop and hiding all their desktop icons. This way, they'll be busy clicking the icons in total confusion.

6. Time Change: The easiest of pranks is switching the time on your victim's clock. The kindest version of this hoax is to move the clock back (make real-time 10:00 am to be 11:00 am) so that nobody is late.

7. Blowdryer Hoax: The prank below is anyone's worst nightmare so tread carefully. And you may end up having to buy them a new blowdryer if the baby powder doesn't make its way out of the dryer.

8. Breakfast Prank: If you're making breakfast for your victim, then pour a few drops of food coloring in bottom of their cereal bowl and play dry cereal on top. Let them pour their own milk for some color-changing fun.

9. Coin Prank: Got time to people watch? Glue a one dollar coin to the ground and watch pedestrians attempt to pick it up and fail.
