Youths nab, handover 2 robbery suspects to police

YOUTHS of Oviri-Olomu, Ughelli South Local
Government Area, Delta State, have apprehended
two suspected armed robbers in the community and
handed them over to the police.
The suspects are 27-year-old Nicholas Omuvwie and
Shelter Okorodudu.
Some criminals in the area have reportedly gone
into hiding following the daring action of the youths.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Delta State
Command, DSP Celestina Kalu, who confirmed that
the suspects were in police custody, said, " When the
suspects were searched, one locally made pistol was
recovered from one of the suuspects."
She said: "Investigation is in progress."
