CONFESSION: OSOBA MAKES SHOCKING REVELATION ABOUT OBASANJO

Former Ogun State governor, Olusegun Osoba who was the chairman at the launch of a book titled: 'Watch the watcher: A book of remembrance of the Obasanjo years by Yinka Odumakin, revealed that the ex-President strongly agitated for a third term in the overall office.
While faulting Obasanjo's denial of not nursing a third term, Osoba accused the former president of allegedly rigging out Alliance for Democracy (AD) governors in the 2003 governorship elections.

He also faulted some aspects of Obasanjo's book: 'My Watch', where he (Obasanjo) approached leadership of the AD to solicit for their support in 2003.

Osoba said 'The Watcher (Obasanjo) wrote a book which Wole Soyinka had given his verdict, and that he is also going to give his verdict when he writes his book.

He said for Obasanjo to claim he does not know about the pact with the AD governors is far from the fact.
The ex-governor, who recently defected to the Social Democratic Party said to correct him, it was July 2002, when he came to a graduation ceremony in Unilag, where they met at the office of the old Head of State.

He said it was there that Obasanjo almost went on his knees that the AD governors, should support his second term ambition.

He further disclosed that AD governors told him that they were not the founding fathers of AD, hence told Abraham Adesanya about it, but he insisted he would not go to Abuja, before he later agreed that he would meet them at the presidential lodge.

The former governor further revealed that Abraham
Adesanya never met Obasanjo in Abuja but at the slightest notice Obasanjo came to Abuja. He said Adesanya told
him that he heard he was going to ambush AD governors, adding that those present on that fateful day was Bishop Gbonigi, the Awujale and Cornelius.

Osoba then expressed shock and surprise that Obasanjo wrote in his book that he knew nothing about the Third Term Agenda which he claimed God would have given him, if he had asked.
