Nigerian Govt. declares First Ebola case Hospital Open, after closure orders.

The Federal Government has reopened First
Consultant Hospital in Obalende, Lagos
where Liberian Patrick Sawyer, the first case
of Ebola in Nigeria, died from complications
of the disease.

In a letter sent to the Lagos state Ministry of
Health, the Federal Government said after
having undergone three rounds of state-
certified decontamination processes
according to world standard, the hospital is
free to continue its business of administering
health care to patients.
The hospital was closed over a month ago
after Patrick Sawyer died there. Dr Adadevoh
and nurse Ejelonu got infected in the hospital
and also later died.
