The former professional footballer feels that it’s a little uncomfortable for people to see him strip down now
David Beckham has hinted that he will stop stripping off and posing in his underwear to promote his underwear line.
The former footballer, who has posed in his pants for Armani as well as H&M, feels that now he’s 39, it’s not necessarily what everyone wants to see. Say what?


“I’m getting older now, I’m not too sure many people want to see me parading around in my underwear much longer,” David said.
“My body is still OK but it’s only a matter of time before people are like, ‘Really? Again?’”

With four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and little Harper, David reckons that he might have passed his sell-by-date for such revealing shots.
He said: “I’m 39 years old, I’ve got four kids, I’m not sure people are comfortable with that anymore.”
David, who has managed to rack up over 30 tattoos, also admitted that even though he likes his leather jackets and inkings, it’s tough for him to appear macho in front of the cameras.
“I might have tattoos and things like that but getting a masculine shot out of me isn’t always easy,” he told Another Man Magazine.
The former England captain, who paid a visit on the opening day of his wife Victoria’s London store, added: “It’s totally nerve-wracking. Not wearing clothes is one way to be really self-conscious.”
